Opportunities Industrialization Centers Ethiopia (OICE) is a non-governmental, non-profit
making organization established in 1973 with funding from USAID and technical support from
OIC International. OICE was first established in 1973 as a vocational training institute to equip
jobless youth and adults with market-oriented vocational skills to create them job opportunities,
but through time it has broaden its area of actions prompted by multifaceted challenges facing
the country including HIV/AIDS and urban destitution.
Vision: Our vision is to be one of the leading local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) supporting the transformation of Ethiopia into middle income country.
Mission: Our mission is to empower the destitute and vulnerable communities have better access to the available social and economic opportunities through integrated supports and marketable vocational trainings to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
Our ultimate goal is to significantly contribute to the social and economic development of poor and school dropout’s people young men and women in Ethiopia through capacity building, compressive livelihood supports and sustainable job creation.
